Artists can change the world and that’s exactly what we’re going to do on Summer SMADD 2018 – Kindness Matters. Join us for a MASSIVE week of Song, Music, Art, Drama and Dance as we learn about social justice, the arts and faith and how to combine these to make a massive impact! SMADD is sure to be an event you’ll never forget!

Deborah Runham & Dan Marsh

Directors Profile

Deborah Runham has been the Director of Summer SMADD since 2005, prior to that, Deb directed the Art Core on both Summer and Winter SMADD from 2000-2005. Deb brings two decades of youth ministry experience with her and counts it a privilege to be a director of this incredible event. Deb works as a Home Economics teacher in Toowoomba. A visual artist, singer, cooking fanatic and avid traveller, Deb considers Summer SMADD to be the best week of the year and is constantly amazed at the brilliant talent found on this camp.

Dan Marsh has directed on Summer SMADD since 2015. Dan brings a wealth of youth leadership experience through serving on the steering committee of SU Qld Sunny Coast Schoolies over the past 10 years and as a key leader of the youth ministry at Toowoomba Community Baptist Church. When he’s not leading, Dan is an electrician and electrical engineering student; he can be found playing soccer, mixing music or working the sound desk.
