Winter SMADD 2022

Welcome to Winter SMADD 2022!

SMADD stands for Song-Music-Art-Drama-Dance, and is a Christian camp designed for high-school aged students interested in the creative arts. Throughout the week, campers specialise in one of the five cores to create content and be trained in their skill. Moreover, every day is comprised with core electives that allow campers to explore the arts outside of their existing skillset. Beyond the arts, there are also opportunities to learn about Jesus and discuss some of the big questions about life.

If you’re keen on enjoying a week of fun and meaningful content, come share in the experience that will be Winter SMADD 2022! This year, camp will run from July 4th to 8th, and the venue is Alexandra Park Conference Centre. Come be a part of our community that is known for being welcoming, chill, and little bit unpredictable. We would love to see you there!

Liam:
Hey, Liam here! I work as an electrical engineer based in Brisbane. In my downtime, I love to get my guitar and sing, or play some computer games! Can’t wait for SMADD 2022, and looking forward to meeting all the campers on SMADD 2022 as we create amazing art pieces, have a laugh and make some great memories!

Ronnie:
Hi, I’m Ronnie! When I’m not at SMADD, I’m an Occupational Therapist up in the Whitsundays! I love to sing and dance around the house, and I love that on SMADD I get to let my creative side out! Cannot wait spend the week grooving, creating and laughing with you all!

Kieran:
Hey, I’m Kieran! I’m a PhD student at The University of Queensland. My field is Behavioural Economics and Game theory; don’t play board games with me unless you like losing! At SMADD, I love music related activities. Whether it’s playing the piano and guitar, writing songs, or (bad) dancing, you can always count me in if it involves music. I can’t wait for Winter SMADD 2022 and I hope to see you there!
